Our Team
Our team started out as climbing partners. We have shared a many fantastic days out on the hill and at the crag, and quickly realised we share a deep love for outdoor sports. All three of us were working as outdoor instructors and guides, and enjoy facilitating other peoples access to the outdoors. So we came together to bridge the gap, taking people on life changing adventures, and giving people access to a whole new world of adventure.
Jack Reade
Jack loves spending time outside, especially if mountains are involved. Whether its climbing or walking, summer or winter, he'll be there (with snacks in pockets).
James Healey
James is always up for an adventure, for venturing out to that overgrown crag or picking the most obscure way up the hill. He says it makes the end of the day cakes taste better.
James Bell
Long hair James lives to climb, with significant time spent developing his skills in the wild torriden. He's now working towards his MCI.

Get to Know Us
Set up in 2023, Next Step Outside exists to connect poeple to their passions for outdoor sport. Our team was formed by three climbers, at a crag, doing what we love. We share a deep love for the great outdoors, and want to make it accesable for all.
We have worked as outdoor guides for a combined decade, and are constantly asked "what do I do next?" "How can I get into this myself?"
So, We decided to bridge the gap from first timer to avid enthusiast, by helping people take their
